I hate to be the bearer of bad news but excuses are not reasons not to work out. Studies show that 60% of American adults do not get the recommended amount of physical activity, and over 25% are not active at all. My guess is that a small percentage of the people that fall into those groups have valid reasons (not excuses) on why they cannot exercise but the vast majority just make excuses.</p>
<p>Ok, ok…now&#8217;s the time I get to tell you that I immediately fell into the “not getting enough exercise” group once I bought my first house, got married, etc&#8230;Based on that statement, it’s my wife’s fault&#8230;right? I wish I could point the finger at someone other than myself but I can’t. I would constantly tell myself that “I do not have the time” or “I have no energy” but then I would go home and watch ESPN  for an hour or so. Sometimes it’s hard to grasp this concept but excercise actually energizes you, it’s a fact that it increases your energy level. So we all can throw out the “I have no energy” excuse as exercise is the solution to that excuse.</p>
<p>The problem with most exercise programs is that you do not see results quick enough which takes a heavy toll on your motivation to continue so you eventually slack off or even stop. It’s a 90-day program that consists of 12 different routines <span style="color: #808080;">(Chest&amp;Back, Plyometrics, Shoulders&amp;Arms, Yoga-X, Legs&amp;Back, Kenpo-X, Core Synergistic, X-Stretch, Chest Shoulders&amp;Triceps, Back&amp;Biceps,Cardio-X, Ab Ripper-X)</span> ranging from cardio type workouts to muscle mass building workouts. The program also comes with a 3-phase nutrition plan and fitness guide. You are guaranteed to see phenomenal results if you follow both the workout and nutrition plan. Speaking from experience, I saw great results without following the nutrition plan but I did eat somewhat healthy. Tony Horton (P90X trainer) motivates you every step of the way. In the past, I have tried to workout at home but always found myself taking longer breaks between sets and sometimes even browsing the internet during my workout. P90X is designed so that you maintained your motivation throughout the workout. I love P90X because it combines cardio-style workouts while lifting weight so you are burning crazy calories and building muscle mass all at the same time. I am in the process of completing another round of P90X but this time I am following both the workout and nutrition plan to a tee and very much looking forward to awesome results. I highly recommend this program to anyone that is up for an extreme challenge.<br />
