P90X Chin up Bar

This item is one of the most popular BeachBody accessory. Chin-ups are a big part of the P90X program but if you are unable to do any, you could use the B-Line Resistance Bands with the door attachment as an alternative. My recommendation is if you can do at least one solid chin-up (no cheating), you should consider purchasing a chin-up bar. You need to start somewhere and if you can do one, soon it will lead into 2 or 3, then 4-5, etc…
Even if you are not following the P90X program, you may want to consider incorporating chin-ups into your routine. Chin-ups are one of the most beneficial excecises to build muscle and strength. This difficult exercise builds strength in your fingers, hands, and forearms as well as works your biceps, triceps, shoulders…and all of your back muscles!
The P90X Chin Up Bar installation is very straight-forward and does not require drilling. It comes in eight different pieces and an installation document is included. Once up, it only takes seconds to remove from the door frame. It can be easily stored in a closet or under your bed.
One important requirement is to make sure your door frame is no more than 32 inches wide (standard doors measure from 30-32” wide). A sturdy doorframe and trim are also required.
The P90X Chin Up Bar is made of commercial grade heavy-gauge steel that can withhold someone weighing up to 300 lbs. The bar is designed with multiple grip positions and pro-grade close-grip handles which allows you to target different areas of your upper body.
