P90X Workout – Day 50
Yoga-X – I woke up a bit earlier this morning and started my yoga-x workout at 5:15am. This might have been the most enjoyable yoga workout I have had since starting it. I feel like it’s 50-50 with me though, some weeks I like it and others not so much.
Cardio-X– Once I finished the first part of yoga which is 45-47 minutes long, I jumped right into the cardio-x workout. I skipped the warm-up and started with the kenpo piece (high kicks). It took a bit for me to get going as my body was so relaxed from the yoga workout. I was ready to go by the end of the kenpo exercises and the start of the plyometric segment. Seeing that I eliminated the cardio-x warm-up, the total workout was about an hour and 10 minutes long. I have piggyback the cardio-x routine on some of the other P90X workouts but this yoga/cardio combo is my favorite. I felt like I had a great workout this morning and it was a yoga day! I think it’s from sweating a bit during the cardio-x routine so I am definitely doing the yoga/cardio combination again on Saturday…my next yoga-x workout.
